To enhance the skills we already had, or to pick up and learn new ones, the class learned and improved on drawing facial features such as the eyes, the nose, and the lips. This was not challenge, since I already knew how to draw these features, but making the realistic is the key. The eyes, for me, is the biggest struggle, and I am highly impressed with how these turned out. With the help from my teacher, I learned the shape of the eyes, the detail in the pupils, and the short little wisps of the lashes to make them seem more human like then cartoonish. Same for the nose, which was also something that was a bit of a struggle, with the shading to make the shape of it, and the outlining of the nostrils. The lips weren't as hard, but in order for lips to look realistic, there's a lot of details to be added which did take a lot of time, but I learned improvingly from these practices.
